MDHCV will be giving priority to serving families who meet the admission preferences. The preferences include:

• Terminated due to Insufficient Funding by PHCD
• Displacement due to Natural Disaster
• Displacement Due to Government Action
• Veterans
• Miami-Dade County Residency Preference 

Applicants will be required to provide proof of admission preferences at their initial eligibility appointment. Failure to provide proof will result in the applicant family being placed back on to the waiting list.
